Ultimately, they "appeased" us by allowing our "perpetual" licenses to continue until 10 years from purchase date, at which time it will stop working. TeamViewer's response initially was canned quotes and lots of BS. At the time of this announcement, there was a large outcry from TeamViewer customers. I will no longer be able to connect to my customers remotely via the internet. Without "Server" services the product only works on the local LAN which is pointless. Then TeamViewer changed their pricing structure to a subscription based system and said they would be discontinuing "Server" services for my version of TeamViewer. I spent thousands of dollars on a "perpetual" license of TeamViewer 10 and was led to believe that it would work in perpetuity. However, as a company they are not to be trusted. In my experience, their customer service is average, but their technical support is pretty good. Technically, TeamViewer Remote Control is an excellent product with a superb feature set.
